I’ve seen an interesting topic on the WordPress suggestions.

I will reveal my true name – dam Dam DAM
Not if my name should be in secret, as I know none of my related people is famous or criminal. I chose another surname to help the English tongue. I have British and American friends, they would rather call me by my middle name, just because it’s easier for them.
My first name: Csilla
Middle name: Bernadett (I don’t spell it wrong; this is how we write it, it’s on my birth certification)
Surname: Virágh (not Rein, I chose this for a good reason)

Csilla:
name creation by Mihály Vörösmarty, not he used this form first as a name, András Dugovics did in 1788, so my name is quite new.
pronunciation: CHYLLAH
Came from the word ‘csillag’ and the literal meaning, and translation is ‘star’. The sun is a csillag. 😊 The literature gave two other meanings, the weak sprouting of the reed and the reed, the sparsely growing sedge.
I got this name from a funny story. I am the fourth child in my family, I wasn’t a planned child. My grandmother once noticed that my mother had pale skin again and she asked her if one more child was on its way. My mother protested with loud words. One week later, she had a guess that she probably had kidney stones. So, she asked for an ultrasound. And I shone on the monitor. And yes, she had a kidney stone.

Bernadett:
As a tradition, my mother had a middle, my father had a middle name, we all have middle names, and probably I will give my children (if I’m lucky enough to become a mother once) a middle name.
Pronunciation as we say:  BEARNADETT (all consonants are hard, and the R is pronounced)
This old French/German name means bear. Here in Hungary, it means strong as a bear. The meaning of the name Bernadett can be controversial, and there are several possible explanations. One possible origin is from the Germanic words “Bera” (bear) and “hard” (strong), which combined give the meaning “strong as a bear”. Others believe that the name could mean ‘brave, strong’ or ‘happy, blessed’.

A little secret about my first book ‘Way of Freedom’, I technically named Bera after myself, and I plan to use my own personality as a base for her.

Virágh:
If we don’t count the H at the end, it’s a given name. Meaning and literal translation Flower. The explanation of this name can be the translation “mistake” when someone translated the name Flora.
We do not know a lot about my father’s side, and all we know is about his maternal line.

Pronunciation: VYHRAHG

My pen surname:

Rein:
About the Author
C. B. Rein is the author of Way of Freedom and Leather and Velvet. Having an unpronounceable name, she took her family tree and picked one of her poor ancestor’s surnames, who was living in the 18th century. As a fourth child, she grew up with four sisters and had more deepness than tallness for the luck of her readers. She started writing as a hobby in her teenage years, and she was stuck in this like an old cork stopper in a wine bottle.

We are mixed from a lot of ethnicities, if we look back, we see szász (immigrant Germans who worked in the towns as craftsmen) (The immigrant Germans who worked in the field were the sváb). Polish, Russian, tirpák (immigrant Slovakian)
My maternal family tree coring until 1648, this is the last-born date we were able to find (we had luck, most of our family stayed in the same few villages and towns for centuries)
Rein is a German/Dutch given name originally, but as the surname has a different meaning,
The Rain, Rein name as a given name means counsel, and as a surname means clean.

I hope you enjoyed this article, Soon I come back with the first episode of the 5 AM podcast where we’ll talk about a cult.
